This year I was made aware that you can by Fair Trade chocolate which means that everyone gets paid fairly for their work and contributions to the end product. We had left it a bit late to find enough Fair Trade Easter eggs for the family so my daughter did a last minute shop for chocolate and molds that we could take with us on our Easter family holiday to make the eggs. We found out that it is quite tricky to make attractive, hollow eggs. The most successful ones turned out to be small, solid blocks set in ice-cube trays ;-) So we called this year our "experimental, transitiona yearl" next year we will be better prepared.
