The Vulcan Magnolia had the most blooms it has ever had. It loved the wetter summer and the milder winter this year.
This was the first year that Berwick Lodge Primary School took students on a cultural exchange to Singapore. Fortunately I was one of the teachers chosen to escort the students on their inauragual trip. It was fantastic!
This is one of the three weeping birches around our little fish pond. I love the little seed pods that hang from it in the winter months giving it a totally new costume.
The Silver Birch in winter is a beautiful tree. You get an opportunity to really admire the silver bark of the trunk when it is bare of leaves.
