We spent a day driving around the Swan district of Perth and stumbled across The Gomboc Gallery
We met my cousin Carole in Perth with the intention of catching the ferry to Fremantle. Unfortunately we missed it by minutes and there wasn't another one for hours so we caught a train instead. We had a lovely day walking around the streets, going to the market and eating at some of the lovely cafes, restaurants and local pubs. Fremantle is a very picturesque town with lovely historic buildings.
Araleun Gardens are quite famous for their tulips and even though we missed the tulip season the garden is still spectacular. The huge stone pilars and water features are worth a visit anytime of year. Another stunning coast scene where the water was a soft emerald green, sands were white and huge boulders took on the shape of a herd of elephants. Green Pools is William Bay National Park, Denmark, Western Australia. The tree top walk has been built so that you can really appreciate the giant Tingle tree forest. The board walk leads through the forest at ground level and highlights the huge gnarly trunks of the ancient trees.
