Walpole was a tiny town with a well planned walkway through the scrub to the beach. I particular remember the walk for the flock of blue wrens that we upset on the way back. There were all sorts of little wrens making a fuss trying to lead us away from what must of been a nest somewhere. I am sure that one was a rarely seen Southern Emu Wren as it had a long whispy tail but it was shy and quickly out of sight.
Beedelup Falls was an unexpected delight that we found along our way. Clearly a site that tourists stop by and visit as it was well cared for with parking and signage.
