I didn't know these spiders existed before this photo project and now I seem to find them on a regular basis. This one is down near the vegetable garden.
Every post and garden arch has at least one clematis growing over it. This little clematis frames the view out onto the back lawn.
Clivia's like a bit of shade so these have thrived along the edge of the carport, at the bottom of a sloping garden that has trees and salvia's growing above.
A great find at the market on one of our regular Sunday excursions. The real name is Osteospermum or African Daisy.
The little white clematis that came from my brother's house ( it was growing in his gutters ) looks like little stars covering the arch
Even though this is the gate that leaves the garden it is in actual fact the gate leads to another garden. There was no space that was exempt from a little garden edge. The shed that is through the gateway has a beautiful garden with fruit trees, hydrangea, and salvias.
This is a spectacular plant and I think quite unusual. I haven't been successful in growing it but I intend to keep trying.
